Soros: Money and Politics

~
Does George Soros mix his political interests with his investment strategy? Read this original story on Soros' Southeast Asia speculation from Irrawaddy.org an organization that focuses on Burma and Southeast Asia and has felt the Soros "touch" first hand.

I don't think Soros can take on the US currency single handedly, but I do think he could convince other big investors, particulaly those of his political persuasion, to participate in a scheme to devalue the dollar and derail the Bush administration early in its second term.

Read more about this icon of philanthropy at:
Canadian Dimensions a liberal Canadian magazine with a less than flattering in-depth article on Soros.
Wikipedia a great free encylopedia that gives you a serious overview with links to other wikipedia entries and external sites. It's an invaluable research tool.
FreeRepublic a conservative forum with an article entitled "The Secret Financial Network Behind "Wizard" George Soros" It's a little conspiritorial, but of course, so is my premise.

New Blog

Just started up this blog.

I've been inspired by Hugh Hewitt and the other great bloggers in the blogosphere who helped crack open the CBS memo forgery scandal. During a debate between
Jonathan Klein and Stephen Hayes on the old medium (TV) arguing about accountability, truth and authority in the scandal, Klein called bloggers ". . . [it's] a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas."

Thus was born this new blog.

I don't know if I have enough time to do this, but I'm going to give it a try.
